Environmental Approvals and Planning Expert. up to $158K. Ability to Influence?
Environmental Approval and Planning Expert

You are a proven technical expert in your field of environmental approvals and planning, and your CV highlights this at a glance. To your new company, their appreciation for what you can bring, is in the depth of your experience.

More than just an approval project here and there, a deep understanding of the mining industry, mining environmental legislation, what regulators want, dealing with mining client priorities and coordination of all parties involved.

Having not lost touch with the technical, you will of course handle the high-end clients that correlate with your value. However, recognising that to get the most out of you and in turn offer you an equally challenging role, your direction of a team of principal, senior and consultants, will also be key.

The current management have successfully grown the team (members and turnover) in the past few years, and intend to continue this. Your role coordinating a team, allows crucial influence to this further success. With generous equity and partnership opportunities, your merits alone determine how quickly you get there. Help drive the team, and benefit personally and professionally.

ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST Senior $98K - $82K A real plan?
Environmental Scientist, Senior

Recently adding 3 key business development and project directors to speed up growth for the 2010/2011 financial year, this company has a big future planned out.

Drawing on both global and local expertise, a triple pathway strategy will focus on mining approvals and prefeasibility studies, mine rehabilitation and closure planning and EMP derivation and implementation for resource projects.

Moving into a senior environmental scientist in the team, project management of activities supporting the aforementioned plans, and technical leadership will be a focus. With a variety of projects from these areas in your reach, your depth of experiences in mining environmental management will allow for this flexibility and transition.

A very distinct environmental group within a larger mining focused consultancy, appreciates the uniqueness of environmental consulting over other engineering disciplines. The group dynamic “flows”, which makes for not only a successful bid team, but stronger internal and external relationships and culture. Supported by consistent wins in national employer best surveys and independent client feedback.

You must bring with you at least 5 years experience in environmental management in the mining or resources sectors, with consulting experience, and exposure to technical report preparation and project management in approvals planning issues.

Environmental Consultant $162K - $134K MINING AUTHORITY?
Environmental Consultant
Mining Authority

Your resume will immediately have an emphasis on environmental legislation and regulation understanding within the WA mining spectrum. This thorough understanding will have been pivotal in large scale extraction projects you have overseen, through either an approvals management, or planning and compliance direction. (there is room for specialists in either or both areas)

As a top tier environmental consultancy they are certain that their leading mining and oil and gas clientele are looking for the best to manage their sites, and educate their employees on responsible and sustainable resource management.

A key aspect of this role will be mentorship and leading of a team. Projects this size call for a team of consultants, and whilst your technical knowledge will be reserved for the most complex and challenging of projects, your advice and guidance to more junior team members is integral. Client management is a core focus of this company, and they will provide only the best and most competent advice.

With a Bachelor of Environmental Science or Engineering, you must have at least 10 years experience in the WA mining industry environmental management.
